COPPER

That won't really help cool it much. The idea is you use fins to improve surface area, and thus, heat dissipation into the air. I'm not sure what the integrated laptop graphics look like, but I don't think putting a flat copper plate onto a flat plastic plate will help much.

Perhaps you could add 4 of these. That would give you an area of about 26mm*26mm*4mm. Not sure if it would help, but it can't hurt.

Edit: Or perhaps these. They're GPU ramsinks, but if they fit, hey it's still a heatsink. You might have to trim the fins a little, but I dunno.

thanks for the reply, not sure if i am allowed to post a url here to show you the pics of where the copper goes, but its for the contact between the gpu and the actual heatsink.

thanks

Ahh I see what you mean now. I don't know how you're going to buy such a small piece of copper. I think your only solution is to buy a large sheet of 1.5mm copper and cut it up. Found a cheap one for a roll, but it's craft copper and probably has other stuff in it which may be crap.

Edit: Of course, eBay. >_<
