Will these work well together, I'm currently using this with no pad and thought it was time i treated myself to a new mouse.

The mouse is awesome, specially with the weights as the icemat is a very shiny surface and makes your mouse feel very light which I couldnt get to grips with, threw a few weights in and wallah, its perfect.
additional buttons are very handy aswell when you use Uber setpoint software, flip3d on the thumb buttons and use the mouse wheel that you can push left and right for your volume etc

Also note for anybody buying these 2...
When sticking the icemats sticky feet to the bottom of this mouse dont apply them to the actualy feet pads already on the mouse, it doesnt level out and it mouse wobbles, stick them on between the feet pads and its perfectly level and glides smoothly over the mat.
Also makes this mouse so precise !
Was using a gell cloth top mat for the last 3 years and the change over i noticed so much differnce between them.
