Copperhead OR Deathadder

I imagine both of them will perform very similarly.

I personally have a Copperhead ( a RED one :D ) which I love but if I had the choice now to go back in time I would buy the deathadder, simply because it looks more comfortable and I wouldn't end up with a small hole in my mousemat where my little finger rubs on it :p

i have a mate that got the razer mantis matt and deathadder, he use to use the razer exact matt + copperhead but he says the deathadder responds a little quicker which is great for blowing motha's away :p

also the exact matt used with the deathadder caused the bottom of the mouse to be scratched n caused his tefflon pads to wear down quite quick so it made it harder to drag so he bought the mantis :) im now using his exact matt with my logitech MX518 n it works a treat

Get the deathadder, the copperhead uses an inferior laser compared to the deathadders optical, both are still good mice but you'll find the deathadder is more responsive.

Deathadder has a faster responcetime, its one if not the fastest mouse on the market.

It also from what i can see has 2 buttons that the copperhead doesn't on the side - correct me if i'm wrong.

I play CSS with a guy that has had both, he had problems with *** copperhead as his hands were 2big for it, but the deathadder is a bit bigger and suits him from the ground up coz of its larger size.

Deathadder just recently bought one to replace my knackered mx510 and I love it very responsive nice fit for my hand excellent mouse.

Don't want to write too much as there are other threads on the merits of some gaming mice over others... use the search option to find them. :)

The general concensus is to stick with optical rather than laser as the technology of laser mice has not fully matured yet.

The Deathadder or Diamondback are my personal recommendations - just pick whichever fits your budget. The Copperhead is inferior to both however.

Also, from many of the posts i've read i'm sure i can also recommend the MX510 even though i've never used it. ;)

Your wrong

The copperhad has a total of 4 side buttons, 2 on either side. You can bind macro keycombinations/key presses to them :)

Okay mixed reactions I spose. I personally prefer the look of the Deathadder, but the buttons look like they are hard to push down?

Also, are you able to turn off the lights or turn them down or change colour etc?

Another question: Does anyone have an opinion on a good mousemat? I don't want to pay too much, as I don't really see the point in spending even 10£ on a mousemat =\

The buttons are fine to push I see no difference from my old mx510, you can turn off the lights with the software provided, first thing I did was kill the scroll wheel light.

I bought the Razer Exctamat when I got the deathadder and it's a really good mat with different sides for speed or control.

Copperhead because it looks better :D

I hope your not one of those people that blames performance on mouse...
Everyone seems to do that, but even when they get a new mouse they're still ****!
