copy and paste problems with pdf..

I am trying to copy and paste this text into word and its not letting me, I have tried onto notepad too, can it be encrypted??

Can anyone help? Is there any way I can copy the text?

Isn't that the whole point of a .pdf?

no with normal pdf's you can copy text with no problem.

I'd guess it's language differences.

I can get stuff to paste, but it seems to be getting confused.

its not that as I have copied lots of pdf's with differing languages. Its v strange - just looks like some sort of copy protection, however there is no reason for that on this pdf!

open it in acrobat or open office and save as text file/doc/rtf. Kinda works but you'll need to check it for spaces.

To see what kind of protection the pdf has open it up in adobe acrobat and go file > Document properties then click the security tab. If "Contect Copying or Extraction" is set to not allowed then the pdf is copy protected.
