Hi guys,

I have absolutely no idea what i am doing. I have never used Mac OS X before and I'm ready to put the Macbook Air I'm trying to use through the nearest window.

All I want to do is copy some JPEG files from the Macbook to a USB drive. Thats it.

I can't find any way to locate the files without Mac OS launching iphoto. Iphoto won't let me do anything. It won't let me drag and drop to the USB drive. It won't let me 'export' the files either, just comes up with some error about being Unable To Render.

I'm sure I'm just doing it wrong because I've no idea what i am doing but the entire thing just seems so unintuitive that I've had to come and ask you guys.

On Windows all I'd do is open Windows Explorer, browse to where the files are and drag and drop. What is the equivalent to this with Mac OS X?

Thanks!
