Copy Website

Hey guys,

have a problem that im unable to awnser....

basically, a friend of mine hosts websites for charitys and the like and he has been approached by a person to host a host a website thats already online. Now, what he needs to do is grab everything off the active site and rehost it.

so whats the simplist and quickest method for doing this?
is there software that can do it?

I know you can get free programs that copy the website and all its files, i read about it on a hacking site and supposedly they use it to crack passwords on the website while its hosted on their own server.

ftp of course.

does it use ftp? If so download all the files and then upload them and thats it. Thats if you know the password for the site

tried FTP but the site is currently hosted on a Thailand server and is a lil dodgey at the best of time.

je has all the passwords and usernames to log in but its just not working.

can you tell me the name of free programs??
