Copy WoW & Steam to Another Drive

Is it as easy as just copying the Wow and Steam folders to another drive? My SSD sounds like it's dying so I need to move them before it goes and I have to re-install everything.

yes...steam at least..dunno about WoW.
(also rescue any savegames stored in your documents folder)

Not sure on Steam, but you can just copy WoW over to another drive and play it from there no problem.

Yeah just copied and pasted my WoW folder the other day and works fine.

Works with Steam too, been using the same install longer than I can remember

WoW will work fine untill a big patch install looks for a reg entry, it won't work then. Atleast that's my experience.

I've been using the same WoW install since it was released and I've never had a patch cause problems, even copied it onto my brothers PC when his hard drive died and it's still working today.

It does work fine to copy the full WoW folder though in my experiences I find it better for a fresh install.
