copying bios settings

Guys ,

Really dont know nothing about bios settings , but i just got the i5 oc to 4hgz package . Now is there a way to copy all the overclocking settings incase i mess things up? as i have no idea on how overclocking works!

I have a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 Mobo if that helps

Could not find any Gigabyte utilities for backing up the BIOS there may be 3rd party utilities, Google it. But I have a Gigabyte MB and the BIOS has an option to back up the BIOS to the HDD. Have you checked your BIOS for this?

There is a utility from Gigabyte. Check that it is for your board and be careful.

yup if it is a giga mobo you can save the bios to the PC.

I think you can save BIOS settings to a USB stick. Enter BIOS, hit F11>Save to USB?

I think that this just saves the BIOS version and not any settings. I could be wrong though.
