Copying C drive

If I wanted to put a new drive into my PC, could I use software like Partition Magic to copy my C drive to the new drive and then use that as my C drive and remove the old one?

I usually use Acronis True Image to move my c drive or norton ghost. I'm not sure if Partition magic allows drive cloning or not.

Is it easy to do? The reason I ask is because Ive just gone through the faff of a clean install and dont want to do it again
