Hi all, doing my head in this.....how do you copy contacts from your BB 9300 to your SIM? Rolling out new BlackBerrys at work soon and will be swapping their SIM into new device so could do with making sure everyone has their numbers on their SIM but I can't find any way to do it?!

I've found a way to do it 1 by 1 but it throws up an error saying 'Can't Save To Sim'

Yeh we are. Is it as simple as that? Wasn't sure what the procedure is.

Moving from their current BlackBerry over to one that is Enterprise activated. Will that cause any problems?

No idea about the Enterprise thing sorry.

For everything else just go to Blackberry Desktop Manager and go to Device Switch Wizard, select the left hand 'Switch Blackberry Devices' button and follow the instructions.

It copies everything, although the user may need to re-activate their emails (but the email settings will still be present) all settings and contacts should go across, hell even the alarm and background are copied over.

If all else fails you could install google sync and do it that way.

Google synch is no longer available for BB's, i used to have it then wiped my device and forgot to back up the app. When i went to download it from google, it said its no longer available.

Because i have gmail on my BB, i just use the inbuilt synch option in the email settings.

But for the OP, doing it via the BB desktop manager is probably the best way to transfer contacts.

Although with my missus, when i got her a new 9790, we managed to copy all her contacts onto her sim from her old samsung then transferred them to the BB and didnt have an issue.
