Copying data files from DVD, won't let me?

Hi I'm trying to copy over some of my data files from DVD to my new rif but I get an error message saying "Access denied:make sure disk isn't write protected". Anyone know how I can copy them over as I really need them

EDIT: I think I got too used to pressing cut while moving all my files around

Nooooo don't delete, turns out I get an error message on one of the video files saying "cyclic redundancy check failed" or something like that. How would I force it to copy? Thanks

Faulty media, although it could read in successfully on another drive, I have problems with certain discs on my 106S yet read fine on 107.

wow thanks, I'll have to try this with CDs which contain some of my work experience files from 6 years ago, Never was able to see them again.
