Copying entire HDD + Programs

Hey, basically the HD I have now is very noisy and I dont think its going to last much longer, its got a load of important data and programs on. I've heard there are programs which can copy the entire contents of a HD to another including windows. Any recomemdations?

I also prefer Acronis to Ghost, but on a failing HDD I would be tempted to stick it in another machine and use xcopy.
