Copying files off CD?

Got a CD which i've put some mp3's on.

All together it's about 140MB, so nothing that huge.

Inserted the CD into my MacBook, and i've tried copying them all to a new folder. It says it'l take about 2 mins but it just hangs there?

Tried putting them into a .zip on another CD and copying them across that way, but again it just hangs.

Any ideas?

Also tried importing them via iTunes, again it gets half way through copying then just hangs.

could both be bad burns what, try burning at a lower speed
