Just got a packed of blank DVD and want to copy all my photos onto one.

Can anyone tell my the easyest free program to do this?

Ive got Nero but that only seems to do CDs and i also have IsoBuster but i dont thikn that does what i want.

You will need to look at the recommendations people make here and come to your own decision rather than just be told by someone that so and so software is the bestest in the whole wide world.

As a starter look at "ones", used to be by Prassi later TX-Software. There is a thirty day trial available I think.

It is not free software, costs about £12 I think.

My recommendation: if you're just copying photos then WMP should do just fine. If you have autoplay selected, then when you insert a blank DVD it should prompt you to "write files to this disk", then you click it, drag the photos into WMP, press Burn, done.

Which version of windows are you running?

The built in windows CD/DVD burning app is more than sufficient for backing up files and folders. This was in XP and Vista I believe.

You should be able to switch between CD and DVD using Nero.

CDBurnerXP's a good free programme - http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ It's simple to use you just drag and drop the files you want to put on the disc and click burn :)

I use nero normally for any burning that needs to be done.

Windows should be able to handle a few photo's pretty well though, or ashampoo is pretty good too.
