Copying Hard Drives

I know this can be done on a Mac with SuperDuper, so i was hoping it can be done on Windows 7 with a different program.

What i would like to do is clone the hard drive on my old PC to en external hard drive and then copy everything over from my external hard drive to the hard drive in my new PC so it is exactly the same as my old PC, with all of my files, games etc. still on it.

Is this possible and what program do you need to do it?

Or you could get a free trial of Acronis.

I have used Easeus in the past and it's excellent. Have not used Clonezilla but it's meant to be very good as well.

How about using Ultimate Boot CD. This contains among other useful stuff a number of hard disk cloning tools.

If you have a WD drive the acronis tool is free to dl from them. I used it with no problems.
