Copying old drive to folder.

Hi.
Does anyone know how i can copy the entire contents of my old NTFS windows drive to a folder on my Vista drive?
Everytime i try it gives me permissions errors.

Ideas?

you need to take ownership of the files.

Thought it'd be something like that, but ive done all that and it still wont let me copy everything.

1) I have.
2) Ive replaced permissions, owners, auditing all to myself. Multiple times.

It gets about 11Gb of the 52Gb in then just stops.
The only feasible way ive thought of doing it is putting it all in a RAR file then transfering it over and un-raring.

At what file/folder does it stop?
Can you not just exclude the problem file/folder from the copy?

Not without doing several thousend manually.

Because theres a lot of files/folders, and a lot of folders that go very deep.

All sorted now though. Trusty WinRAR!
