Part of what I do is wedding videography. I've probably filmed in over 50 churches over the past few years and have never once been asked about music copyright/licensing etc.
Yet over the past week 2 separate couples have booked/are about to book and their church is asking us to provide licenses that allow us to record copyrighted music.
What are the *actual* laws on this? The recordings aren't for commercial use in so much as I couldn't care less what hymn is sung, or even if no hymn is sung, and obviously the final production is for personal use by the couple.
