Copyright Question

Hi guys just looking to know.

If I have pictures that I took with my Camera do I own the copyright to them. Just making a website about me and a few things and have pictures that I took of me and my ex and me and mates and all. Do I own the copyright to them?

If you took them, they are automatically (in the UK at least) your copyright I believe.

If you Google for Copyright Automatic Photographer there's stacks of info - note that you should concentrate on the UK specific stuff as I believe it may be different in America.
