I dont really know what the hell i'm talking about with DIY so i dont know if this is a really stupid question. I've got a few power tools that are all corded and I was wondering if its possible to "convert" them to cordless? I dont mean physically changing them but rather a portable, plug in battery type thing?

anything is possible but in reality, no

Your corded tools need 240v AC and cordless stuff is around 18~V DC so there'd be a lot of faff to be worth while.

To make it portable a small petrol generator is probably the easiest as to get low voltage batteries to produce 240v requires a huge amount of amps, you could use a couple of car type batteries and an inverter maybe but unless you already have the stuff you'd be way better off just buying new cordless stuff with modern batteries as they'll likely perform better than older corded stuff anyway!
