That is almost a 1 GHz OC at 0.1v below stock vCore. I'm using a crappy P4 550 stock HSF at only 1600 RPM.

This is what my RAM can do at 2.2v:

sorry about the res in that pic. Was on a 14" CRT while my TFT was being RMA'd

@Richdog mate: Super Pi above...it was posted as a link, rather than with tags ;)

I'll post some 3D benchies when i have time.

@maddness: I'm on 0602 right now, but the BIOS needs some work on it. It's really flaky, unstable and unpredictable. Yesterday it wouldnt even get into windows at 370 x 7, and now it's been priming for ages at 400 x 7 @ 1.2v.

Overall, I think this board is excellent, but is let down by a VERY crappy BIOS. Hopefully ASUS engineers will sort it out soon.

It can OC 1 GHz below stock vCore...with proper cooling (high end air like a big typhoon) I'd reckon it could easily do 3.5 GHz, but you'd run out on FSB on the MoBo before the chip runs out of steam...the 7x multiplier is too low :(

Don't know the stock time for sure, but my benching partner with an identical rig bar the ram mentioned 31 seconds :)

I'd stay away from the P5W DH MoBo tbh....it's very weird.

Mine primes all day at 400 x 7, but i can't bench a single FSB higher :(

Some mobos do 450 MHz FSB unmodded, and others wont even do 400 MHz with mods....

I'm looking forward to the RD600.

A little 3DM05

Everything under stock cooling. Once I get it back under water, i bet 12k shouldn't be a problem :D

KITT could you be kind enough to run this quick video test to give me some idea of what to expect as I work with video/transcoding a fair bit....

Download and install DivXtoDVD http://www.wam77.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/vsodivxtodvd0.5.2b.zip 2.35Mb. Run the program and leave everything at default and then convert this 100meg Clip http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XMKW2YEP (you will have to enter a given code then click 'download'). Please let me know Time, FPS and rate. Cheers

Anybody else is welcome to try the test and leave there results. It's single threaded so will only test one core but will still give me a good idea of raw performance.
Getting an error while trying to downlaod that file mate...

I'll try downloading it again later...maybe it's a server problem?
