Core 2 Duo e6300 build help!

Hi all,

I have a e6300 core 2 duo, and im looking to build a system for it. I would like to hear your comments.

I need a board for overclocking, but not really bothered about xFire and SLI.
I only want 1 GB of ram for now too.

I was thinking of:

Zalman Fan H/S,
Asus P5B Deluxe,
GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2, OR
1 x 1GB DDR2 (which one would be better)
Some mid ranged PCIe GFX card.

Comments most welcome.

The Zalman should be fine, but the Scythe Ninja Plus is the daddy.

The Asus P5B Deluxe is a bit expensive for a E6300. The Gigabyte DS3 and DS4 are giving great results for a lot less money.

The Geil PC6400 800MHz is pretty darn good RAM, especially for the price. 2x512mb will give you dual-channel, but is arguably less upgradable than the single 1gb stick.

And the nVidia 7600GT is hard to beat at around 90-100 quid.
