Core 3 fails using prime!!

Cheers guys, thanks for the info. This wasnt an issue to begin with, when I first oc'd the cpu it would run in prime no issues, then all of a sudden I was getting all sorts of crashes so I reset the cmos and overclocked it all again and now I have this issue, might just go back to stock for now then and save my pennies for either a new cpu or go for an 920i7 upgrade with the new mobo and ram!! Thanks again for the replies.

Cheers for the info and advice. I got very bored earlier on today so I played around with some settings and realised that if I enabled loadline calibration it would let me run prime stable on my 3.2ghz oc. So then I played somemore and got 3.45ghz but the core failed again, so im going to increase voltage like you advised, im a little worried about temps now though because this isnt the coolest of chips at the best of times and she is running at 68 degrees now under prime using coretemp on the 3.45 oc!! Any help there anyone, is that just to hot now?? Its all done on air with a simple freezer pro, was considering buying the corsair watercooling kit that is on oc at the moment.

My case is an antec 1200, it has 8 fans fitted to it. 7 are 120mm and 1 is the 250 big boy. It shifts some air. I have prime running now and cpuz whilst I write this and my core voltage is at 1.264 and my temps read 62, 61,56,53. This is on my 3.2 oc. I run my cpu fan on the asus q fan where the speed is regulated by temp/activity etc. I could run it at 100% and go for the bigger oc but for now im gonna stop with what I have I think. Thanks for all the help OLDPHART if you have any more advice fire away, cheers.
