Core 7 under full load with nothing running?

Hey guys,

Booted up my PC around 20 minutes ago, but my idle temps were higher than usual..upon investigation Core 7 on my 8700K is under full load and will not leave this state??

Can someone please advise, im sure if it was a update or something it would have been done by now??

Never thought to try Task manager (what a idiot)! Some stupid background app! quit it and has dropped the usage and temps right down!

Well that was quick and easy

Also updated my BIOS. Was quite out of date.

Had to reset my fan curves and XMP etc..but least im up to date.
