Yeah that all looks like it should work well together mate. Have fun. Not sure if that is one of the GTO's that can be modded to xtpe speed, but worth a look.

Lol, i know you just asked if it was compatible, and i'm pretty sure it is. But £15 over your budget could get you

That card would walk all over the x800... but depends what you use it for i suppose

my god that is tempting! But if i only have a 3200+ that would bottleneck it a lot though i would have thought? Anyways i only play games at 1024x768 res with hardly any AA or AF on so such a card would be a waste.

Well i know of some people that have overclocked their 3200's to about 2.5.. and that lets the 7800 fly. And if you had that card.. you would have AA and AF on :p

lol yes i most probably would :) But at the end of the day you have to draw the line somewhere. If i looked at every pc component in a way like " xxx model is only £30 more and is twice as fast as xxx model" i would just end up spending far too much money. I have a limit and must stick to it :( Im also learning to drive so spending lots of money on a pc i wont use a lot is also just a waste.

wish i had the money though :p
