Core components getting a bit old...

So, thinking of replacing my motherboard, CPU and with it RAM if necessary. Possibly time for a new case as well or keeping the current one and going for a closed loop CPU water cooler if the case is good enough as is. Budget is between £300-£500. Looking for best bang for the buck really.

Currently have;

Phenom II 1055T @ 3.3GHz
8GB Kingston Hyper X DDR3 @1600MHz
ASUS M5A97 Pro
Antec 900 V2 case.

Graphics card (which I'm sticking with for now) is a 7970 which has a fair overclock on it. Windows 7. TX650 PSU. PC is mostly used for gaming on 1080p single monitor but in the future with a card upgrade would look at increasing the resolution.

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks for the reply. I do have an ssd. Hdd too. Would need to keep my dvd drive for some of the older games that I keep going back to.
