ive been looking around for different programs for stress testing and i came across this. has anybody used it?
http://damage.vigilantesoftware.com/
it makes my cpu cores go up into the 90's whereas the highest prime and the like can manage is about 68c. i was just wondering if it is actually credible as a stabillity testing program.

Never seen that, but sounds like an even stronger version of Intel Burn Test / Linpack. Try IBT and see if you get the same sort of temps, if so then its probably using the same sort of tests.

For me prime95 takes my PC to high 50's low 60's. When using IBT it gets to high 60's and just abouts to 70, really stresses the cpu that bit more

well i just got IBT and my temps get up to about 80c thats over 10c lower than core damage and with core damage my temps were still rising when i turned it off for fear of damaging something my processor.
