Core duo fit in a centrino laptop

Either way, I'd be very doubtful. The chipset might not be compatible.

I suppose i could try it, i doupt it will damage anything (unless it is socket 478 obviously).

I upgraded it to the pentium m 1.86 which worked fine.

T2500 will work in 945 chipset mobo. I suspect your current chipset is 915, so no, wont work....

They're all Socket 478 but have different pin configs.

Thus why Pentium M is dubbed Socket 479, and Core Duo initially Socket 480?
