How portable is it, weight and size? Im coming from a 14" vostro.

Apart from those two worries I'm really tempted but with the new chips in Jan is it worth waiting or buying now?

its big, but it is a 17 incher! I've also purchased a neoprene sleeve for it but that hasn't come yet. As for weight, I wouldn't say it was heavy, I only had a little play with it before wrapping it up and putting it under the tree so didn't take it anywhere. However I don't think I'd have a problem taking it places. I'm the wrong guy to ask about the new cores...... I got a 1090T in a new PC so haven't really looked into the new stuff as I'm content with what I have..... to be honest I wouldn't understand half of it anyway! lol :D

Got the Samsung today, it came bundled with a ridiculous amount of free trials and useless software which I quickly got rid of, but it is pretty nippy, is light and seems to be of good build quality, I would recommend it. The other thing is that it has a full number pad on the right hand side which means the arrow keys are slightly more to the left than im used to but other than that its very nice and worth the £380.
