Core i7 1136

Hello all,

I got a Core i7 1136 socket, 12GB DDR3 6x2GB, and ATX PSU but no motherboard and case that I would like to "revive".

As I moved to a more "tidy" lifestyle I need a setup that is small, minimal, and quiet. Any ideas on case/motherboard for the above components? Also, is it worth it reviving the above or for same cash I can get similar/same performance with latest components.

I think ASUS Gene II as I will run SSD for system drive. I ll look to source one. Storage is via 1Gbps link to the synology raid mirror box so SATA 6Gbps is redundant.

For cooling I will look at the all-in-one water solutions as they are cheap and quiet nowadays.

All that remains is to find a case ... I have an old radeon card I could use but is slow and way big for what it can do I think. I guess a cheap low end model of the current ATi/nVidia range (50-60 quid?) will do the job ...
