Clearly they are talking about the 4770(non-k) since the 4770k multiplier is already at 35.

Who knows, maybe they would bring out a 4771k with bumped mulitplier or soldered instead of tim.

TIM goes between the chip and heat spreader, solder will make the chip unhappy?

I'd assumed he was talking about under the heatspreader. Sandy Bridge are soldered and Ivy use TIM, this is one of the main reasons that Ivy bridge CPUs run hotter overclocked than their SB counterparts.

I'm sure the 4771 will make a lot more sense than an FX 9590. Intel must have a target audience in mind for this upcoming chip. For those saying Intel overcharge, tbh the performance the Intel 4670K and 4770K give at their price points is incredible.
