Core i7 4771 On It's Way

4771 ups the multiplier to 35 (up from 34)

Clearly they are talking about the 4770(non-k) since the 4770k multiplier is already at 35.

Who knows, maybe they would bring out a 4771k with bumped mulitplier or soldered instead of tim.

I'm not correcting I'm not seeing the interchangeability of solder with TIM.

TIM goes between the chip and heat spreader, solder will make the chip unhappy?

More bulls*** from Intel. Standard...

Why don't they just introduce a £1 per Mhz policy? It looks like its headed that way!

Look out, we've got a fanboy over here. Do tell us how much better the FX9590 is than the FX8350, and your thoughts on the price increase there. I require some entertainment. ;)

Wasn't the 2700K pointless? They still did that.
There's always been speed bumped CPU's, always.

Exactly,

I'm sure the 4771 will make a lot more sense than an FX 9590. Intel must have a target audience in mind for this upcoming chip. For those saying Intel overcharge, tbh the performance the Intel 4670K and 4770K give at their price points is incredible.
