never said there wasn't , but a bump of 100mhz these days is completely pointless on a seemingly locked cpu (even on an unlocked one it would still be dubious)

He was slating Intel, has an all AMD rig, it has been mentioned that he makes a habit of posting such things, and his comment was hilariously ironic given the crap AMD have just released with an obscene pricetag.

I think you have totally lost me there.
As I said in my earlier post, the FX9590 is dreadful when it comes to bang for buck. I would go even further and say it must be close to being the worst value for money of all time. For a lot less you can get a 3930k with nearly twice the performance when overclocked.
