Core i7 OC help

I have core i7 920 not a DO with 6 gb corsair 1333 ram. i oc to 3.3 and run cpu burn test on high and it just fails all the time, i have set all voltages to normal voltages any help would be great getting it stable i am new with overclocking core i7.

I am using a gigabyte UD3R with latest bios.

I am using a intel cooler hence why im only going to 3.3. when i OC to 3.3 the memory is at 1650 the multiplier is 10.0 i think should i drop it to 1345?

Recorded temps and it failed again.

core 0 highest was 100

core 1 97

core 2 94

core 3 95

I dropped memory multiplier to 1320 aswell every thing is set to default volts and stuff i tried vcore at 1.3 still failed. the guy i bought it off said he did 3.8 with this chip but he had third party cooler.

So what is the problem is heat my enemy on this one or have i got a setting wrong? the test did mention heat.

Im looking into buying a titan fenrir in few weeks.

Im not into water cooling mate bit extreme for me, im hoping to possible do 4 ghz in the future like i said guy i bought it off got it at 3.8 stable.

I will wait until i get new cooler, games run better oced to 3.3 lol.
