I am thinking on get a Core I7 update for xmas and I was wondering if thier is any point spending the extra like 200 quid just for a speed bump? Can you not just over clock it to higher :confused:
 
Well I whudnt be to worried on the processor in a year cause I will probs get the newest one then!

But If I spend like £300 on a motherboard I expect it to last me 2-3 years
