I'm about to build a new system for myself based around the Core i7 920.

My main aim is a cool and quiet system, but I'd also like to get a bit of an overclock - perhaps to 3.2GHz.

I'm spec'ing the system at the moment and have been inspired by rjkoneill's recent build (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17952928) and want to use the Silverstone FT01 case (although I'm waiting for the version without a window to be released in a week or two).

So, my first question is... will the TFC Xchanger Single Radiator 120 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...=1041&name=TFC Xchanger - Single Radiator 120) cope with the heat produced by the Core i7 920 when overclocked?

Secondly, I'm going to be using a 1Gb HD4870 and also wanted to watercool this. I assume that the 120 rad won't cope with both the CPU and GPU?

Simon.

the core i7 chips run very cool, if you only want 3.2 then you wont need water as its capable of that on the stock cooler, and the stock cooler is very quiet when using auto fan control

I'd say you'll want a 120.2/240 at least if you're putting a gpu block in.

From what I've seen on the forum 120.1/120's are only really for when the case is too small for anything else or if you're only cooling a dual core on it's own.
