Hi.
I'm looking at laptops to buy for my wife. It will be used for work (mostly word processing, though occasionally with some fairly large pdf documents). She wants it to be small enough to fit in her handbag. I've found a laptop (end of line Philips X65) which is suitably small and light, but it contains an Intel Core Solo chip, which I've never heard of.
What is an Intel Core Solo processor? Are they any good and how do they compare with the likes of Pentium-M, Centrino, Celeron and AMD offerings?
Any other laptop suggestions you guys might have will be gratefully received.
Cheers.
