Core temp difference

Hi all,

Recently got an AMD X2 6000 and I notice that there can be up to a 10 degree difference (usually around 8) between the cores. Is this normal?

Using an AC 64 Pro with MX-1 which I applied as they say on their web site, puttting a pea size blob in the centre of the chip and giving the HS a wiggle after fitting it.

Also, where's the search gone

I had the same surprise when I moved to dual core. People assure me it's normal.

The search facility has been disabled. There's a thread about it from the admins somewhere, but I can't find it without the search facility They say it will return at some point, but no-one is saying when.

Yip, my old X2 was the same. One core was always 6c or so hotter than the other. Totally normal.
