I have just purchased a new MATX board, Abit FI90HD and within speedfan the CPU temp reading is 5C higher than that of the core temperatures surely this cant be correct.
CPU: Core2Duo E6600 @ Stock Speeds
CPU: 45C
Core0: 39C
Core1: 39C
Is it likely that the CPU temp is reading incorrectly as on my old board installed in the same hardware the idle CPU temp was around 37C - 38C?
