Hi Guys,

I'm currently getting quite a large difference between core tamp and my bios temp.

My idle temps in core temp are: 24 | 25 | 21 | 22

My idle temp is around 40 in my bios. I'm running core temp version 0.97.1. My bios version is 0401 and these are my bios settings:

Does anyone get this sort of differentiation between there mobos and core temp? I'm more inclined to belive core temp as i have the window open *shivers* and both my CPU and HS are lapped.

Thanks Cob. Any advice in terms of my bios settings? I hope to reach 3.6 but my VID is pretty average. My load temps seem OK. Seems to be a bit of headroom :)

Right, i bumped it up to 1.375 to give me 3419 Mhz and after 20 mins of prime, it appears relatively stable.

By behhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think i'll now go for 3.6!

Any comments suggestions guys. Does anyone suggest any adjustments to my bios settings (pictured above)?

Thanks for the advice Cob. It appears that i have hit my limit for now. I attempted:

400 * 9 @ 1.400V
400 * 9 @ 1.425V
400 * 9 @ 1.450V

And they all failed :p

So, i went back to the 8 multiplier and i currently have prime running at 800 * 440 @ 1.4500. Temps are currently 69, 69, 70, 70 which i guess is my limit. I assume that upping both the north and south voltages will only yield more heat?

Right, it's been about an hour and everything appears to be a-OK.

I do think however that i'm starting to get a little high temperture wise  Perhaps i could try reseating my HS and also updating to the 0603 bios.

Is there anything obvious within the below screenshots that will be holding me back?

NOTE: CPU Voltage is now 1.45.

All comments suggestions welcome :)
