Core Temp

Running Core Temp - or attempting to run it causes my machine to instantly reboot - any ideas what's going on?

Just installed 3DMark05 - that causes windows to crash out when I run it.

What's going on? Don't seem to be able to run any monitoring software.

That would indicate you have a problem with your hardware.

If you're overclocked, then that's probably the cause...else it's gonna be the hardware or even your windows is borked.

I suggest a run of orthos to test how stable the system is...if that fails, move on to memtest to see if it's the memory.

The info you've given is quite general so that's as far as I can help... soz

system isn't overclocked.

only issue is that the motherboard is showing 1.2V HT as 1.5v

pretty upset right now......

Not sure about your 3dmk05 problem, but a few peeps have reported similar issues with the latest coretemp 0.95. You should give Core Temp 0.94 a try, see if that's any better.

thanks coretemp 94 works.

3 degrees difference between cores under orthos - this okay? 43 and 46

only overclocked from 2400 to 2475 !
