Hi there :), ive recently been playing around with my e6750 and over clocked to 3.2ghz which is fine for me..now im just making sure does core temp actually show the real temp under load? and if not how off is it..under load i get a max of 56C which is fine considering its stock cooling..but obviously its not good if its way off on the load temps...thanks in advance for your help :)

i usually take the coretemp readigns as actual temps, but to be sure you could run several temperture monitoring programs at the same time

realtemp, speedfan and everest are a nice compliment to coretemp.

ah great lol, i just remember but this was ages ago mind that you had to allow 15c to coretemp, but I could have imagined it lol

thanks just downloaded it now, real temp is reporting 5C higher on load so it seems to be safe..or is 61C a bit too high under load?
