Hi,
Just installed new cpu- e7500 not overclocked.

Using occt and core temp.

Noticed cpu 1 temp is 10 deg lower than cpu2 at idle.(27 and 37)

Under load they even out.(44 and 45)

Is this normal? or have i messed up the thermal paste? or will it bed in the after some use?

Cheers in advance,

Lizzy.

Thx for replies

Ok I reseated the heatsink and fan and temps are the same , so I guess its ok.

Another question, In cpuid it lists my ram and shows the timings, is it showing the recommended timings or the timings that my mobo has set it to?

My ram is geil pc2-6400 cl5-5-5ddr2-800 and cpuid shows the timings as

5-5-5-18

Cant find the exact same ram on the geil site but the closest looks to run at

5-5-5-15

Any ideas?

thx again

Got ram timings of module, thx.

Ok so in bios ive disabled all the energy saving stuff - eist etc but not sure what Virtualization technology is, do i need it enabled?

I just play games, nothing else.
