Hello all,

I'm building a new PC, mainly gaming, but also some multimedia processing: Lightroom, Adobe Audition etc. Running 3 2560x1440 monitors, although only gaming on one.

I'm waiting on the new AMD 9070XT, or maybe 7900XT or XTX if the 9070XT is disappointing.

I was originally looking at the 7800X3D when it was £379, but then the 9800X3D when they were the same price... now £479.99. Although the 7800X3D has now dropped to £428.99, so maybe I can save a bit of cash there.

I've already bought a fast WD M2 4Tb card when it was on sale for £200 recently.

Mobo - I'd like to get more full speed M2 cards in the future, the Asrock Nova seems to fit the bill.

I like the layout of the Lian Li PSU and think it will be a quality of life improvement for the O11D RGB case I'm looking at.

RAM - I've gone for 64GB... is this overkill? I don't mind spending the extra over 32GB if it'll last for a while. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in terms of speeds etc, but I've read 6000MHz is the sweet spot for AM5.

Any thoughts / suggestions on changes etc?

I'll decide on fans and coolers later.

No, I think that's fine, especially since DDR5 PCs don't much like running 4 sticks. So long as the extra RAM doesn't impact your CPU/GPU choice. An alternative is to get 48GB, though do keep in mind that 1st gen boards aren't optimised for this and may need BIOS updates (2nd gen boards like X870 should be fine).

for the O11D RGB case I'm looking at.
I'd have a look at Antec's C5 ARGB, since with it including 7x 120mm ARGB fans that makes it good value if you're having to buy them otherwise.
