Quick question guys, i have the 2600k and have it running at 5ghz but having to use 1.49v to keep it stable. My question is, when not on high load the core speed drops. Is there a way to have the core voltage drop when also not on high load? because i dont want to be running 1.49 all the time

edit, i didnt use offset. messing with that now. just realised what id been doing wrong lol

Yeah I know that voltage was ridiculous, I've started fresh with the help of one of the ocuk members. We spent some time in it last night and are continuing tonight: so far on 4.5 ghz using 1.32v. He says I have a really good chip which is pleasing to hear. Once we get to where we can and its stable, ill post pics and results.

When I shut down last night it did freeze on Windows shutting down page. So if anything maybe I need 1.33. Anyway ill catch you later or tomorrow mate, thanks. Seems fine mate, upped it to 1.33 and primed for an hour for quick test, no problems. But it actually said on core temp it was only using 1.32 but cpuz said 1.334, so ready for next step now. Also it passed IPDT 5 times.
