Switching from AMD X2 to CORE2DUO soon. I have to learn all the ins and outs of this stuff all over again! Its actually quite hard to find this info, so I'd really appreciate some answers...

So am I right in saying it all runs on a 266mhz bus?
What are the default memory speeds/settings?
If you up the fsb, I'm assuming the Northbridge and memory are overclocked too. Anything I else I should know?
Should speedstep be disabled when overclocking?
I'll be using a P5b deluxe. Thats P965. What drivers should I download? Do I get these on Intel's site?

Thanks, I'd appreciate youre answers as this should all be arriving soon. (as soon as Parcel Force get their thumbs out, sent on Monday, tracking# STILL doesn't work  )

The bus speed works lke this.

For example Core 2 Duo E6700.

Multiplier is 10 with FSB speed of 267 = 2670 Mhz.
With a 266 MHz quad-pumped front side bus for a total bus speed of 1066 MHz.
I would look over here for Asus P5B-Deluxe; Problems & Fixes.

Another place to view is here with the BIOS screens, and what it does.
