Hi all,

what is the most beneficial for a core 2 duo cpu (e6320)..

4-4-4-12 timings @ 6400 or 5-5-5-15 timings @ 8500? Thanks

Depends on other factors i.e. 1T timings at 800Hz can in some cases give as good performance at 2T at 1066... to be honest tho unless you have a very fast C2D (talking 4+gig) 800MHz 4-4-4-12 (2T) is going to be enough and more bandwidth than your system needs...

technically PC2-4200 is all you need for stock running.... 266Mhz FSB -> 266MHz RAM.

Now, if you are overclocking, thats a different matter. But still you rarely need more than 1:1 with whatever your target bus speed is for your OC. You may get some improvements in artificial benchmarks using faster ram, but real world performance doesnt increase that much, if at all.
