if I had a q9450 and a qx9650 both clocked at 4ghz, would there actually be any difference to performance during use, or would the qx just run cooler?

I've heard the extremes are actually faster clock for clock than other quads.

qx have unlocked multipliers and q doesnt.

theres no other difference apart from the how things like the VID, maybe the stepping, and the overclockability of each chip

temp wise the q may be cooler then the qx or visa versa
