CoreTemp 0.99.3 released

Thanks :)

Have downloaded to find it's still reading +3/5c(approx) higher than Real Temp.

Not sure ,again, which may be right

I'm not sure either. Apparently my idle temps are now approximately 5 degrees lower than they were with version 0.99.1.

With 0.99.1:
Core #0: 28
Core #1: 32

With 0.99.3:
Core #0: 23
Core #1: 28

Real Temp is telling me something completely different, as is Everest, Asus Probe, HWMonitor, etc. The only thing is, they all repoirt the same temps except for Real Temp which is 10 degrees lower.

All of these apps are a load of crap! LOL.

EDIT: Oh, my Tj.max has gone down to 100 (previously it was 105, and with Real Temp it's 95).

So there you go

E8400

Real Temp -26/28

Core Temp 0.99.1 -36/38

Core Temp 0.99.3 -31/33

Core Temp is still showing a warmer temp than Real. As Bios temp is nearer Real than Core 'tend' to believe the former more than the latter .

All temps shown are at idle (not o'clocked) - add 10c approx for load.

As nice and cool under both no worries :D

BIOS temp has nothing to do with the core sensors.

If the new Core Temp readings are correct, then all this time Real Temp was just as 'wrong' as Core Temp was.

Is this for real? mine says its running idle now at 22 degrees and only 43 degrees load:eek: where as before it was idle at 40 and 55 under load. Just seem a bit low to me:confused:

well not at idle no coz speed step thing is on but under load yes at 4.2:confused: its idle is 1 degree lower than HWmonitor even reads case temps... is that even possible ?. even just used large fft's and its 45-45-40-40 loaded. I am sure this can't be right.
