been readin about the pasties.. im all nostalgic from my childhood in cornwall, anyone live near cambourne? used to live just outside in beacon, anyone know of it?

wanna know what happened to my nice little village! last time i went down, about 15 years ago it was turning into a big estate!
updates anyone?

guess not! it was gettin bad when i left nearly 20 year ago! just lived between cambourne and troon, a little place called beacon, had field all round for miles! probably council estates now!

was real nice when i lived there! i moved to the hills behind penzance for a year as well, there was our house, converted barnhouse, and a farm was awesome till me dad died and we moved up to yorkshire.
has cambourne got real bad then?

well, i spose i was to young to sample the true nature

of cambourne!
i actually lived a couple of miles away in a village but that was nice!
whats penzance like nowadays?

dont need to remind me about that, i am still scarred from having to do the trevithick day dance in 1986, round the streets of cambourne with everyone from school! :eek:

come to think of it, that was one of the things they changed when i left! hahaha
