If you're suggesting Kate Ford can't act, I can only think you haven't watched Coronation Street.

It's pathetic. It's a TV show about a bunch of losers with hopelessly disasterous lives, its only purpose is to make people feel better about themselves by seeing others suffer.

I think your refering to Eastenders, by comparison Coronation Street is far more comedic and eccentric. If you had watched it, you would know..........

Agreed, theres some great comedy writing in it that has me in stitches however the Tracy sketch isn't part of the comedy element.

I've got an interview with Status Quo who appeared on the Street has a favour to the actor who plays Les Battersea. They weren't looking forward to it and thought of Soap actors as 4th rate. After their several days on the set they said they had nothing but respect and never realised how hard they worked. It won't change anybodys mind but its a nice little story.

Coronation street is actually quite fun to watch i have to admit. I watch the soaps with my GF or Mam sometime and i often laugh and enjoy them.

Just people its not everyones cup of tea doesnt mean its necessary to come into a thread with a clear title, and start slating the show. Its a waste of time

Perhaps some posters thought it was guilty of being crap or not.

It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. I do not watch Coronation Street and it does not interest me - but when it spills over into mainstream NEWS then I feel it only fair to voice my opinion. It has no place in anything bar its own programme.

Yeah, because life's only about the serious issues, isn't it?

Boring sod, we were given life to enjoy... god help those people who try to do that. Go and grab the times or telegraph if you just want to read about how many people have died fighting a bloody pointless war in the grand scheme of things. I don't particulary even like the soap.
