Hello,

Could you please help me and make recomendation

I have 2 x GTX 690 in quad SLI.
Also I have single 19" monitor, which isn't even supporting HDCP, so I want to change that.

What I want in the end:
I quite like 23" monitors, it's not too big and not small.
My thought is to build "panel" of a few monitors that have very high quality of image (4 perhabs, I think my graphics cards can handle that). I would put them on the brackets. Also it would be nice to be able to go 3D on them.

What do I need to look for in monitor in terms of its features and capabilities?
I might have old information about multi monitor setup, what is the best now?

I don't have much budget right now but I will get it, so lets say around £250 per monitor? Do I estimate correct price?

I know it sounds mad :)

But I only just got these 2 x GTX 690's 1 week ago.

27" is a bit too big for me. I tried 32" TV, that was far too big for me, so I have put my 19" back.

It's just I use 23" at work and I find it perfect size for me and doesn't take up a lot of desk space. 24" and 23" doesn't sound like a lot of different, so I might give a go to 24".

Ok, is there anything specific I need to consider when choosing them?
I read that if someone wants to put these monitors on brackets and make them work as one big monitor you have to choose specific kind of monitors. I think term "IPS" was used a few times, is that correct?

IPS stands for the screen technology that's used in some (of the higher end) monitors, it has better viewing angles which can be useful if you want to go for a quad setup.
I think the term you're looking for is a VESA mounting option, this allows you to attach the monitor to special stands/monitor arms.

If you want 3D then the LG D2342P might be worth looking at, has a 75x75 VESA mount.
If you want 3D and IPS the ASUS VG23AH is worth a look.

Thanks for the clarification on terms.

I've checked the names of the monitors, can't see any LG one's but with regards to ASUS I am a bit hesitant with their production, I had a number of problems with their motherboard and with GPU in the past.

If you go IPS I think in every case the panel (the actual screen) is from LG so there's no avoiding them. I never heard of any LG motherboard or GPU either (I assume you mean videocard, GPU's are NVIDIA's/AMD's/Via's turf).
